We are thrilled that client ByRuby, which provides freshly cooked, homemade meals for the freezer, has scooped the Best Startup Award at the recent Great British Food Awards.
The Great British Food Awards were launched in 2014 to celebrate the country's finest artisanal products, using home grown ingredients, and to recognise the work and commitment of the entrepreneurs and their teams behind the scenes.
The 2020 Awards have proved to be bigger than ever, with new categories and a demanding set of celebrity judges, including Raymond Blanc OBE, Masterchef's Monica Galetti, Olly Smith, Eric Lanlard and Miguel Barclay, evaluating the entries.
ByRuby won the Best Startup Award, seeing off some stiff competition. Judge John Gill, Head of Commercial Operations at Booths commented on the ByRuby range: "Seriously great tasting frozen ready meals, made only with ingredients you would use in your own kitchen. Sampled four products from the range and each one tasted like as though it was cooked from scratch that evening. Generous portion size too"
Milly Bagot, co-founder of ByRuby said “We are so happy to have been chosen as Best Startup in The Great British Food Awards, it is such an accolade and many thanks go to all of the team.”
